Deadlifting in My New Vibrams

Here's the training session I finished up a little while ago.

1) Deadlift singles, 255 x 3 singles, 265 x 1

2) Rack Pull - 295 x 5, 275 x 6

3) Negative Ab Wheel Rollout/On Knees - 9/9, 9/9

Tough training session so I didn't do anything else afterwards.

Yes, your training session was rough. I suspect that your Saturday speed deadlifts were a factor.

This is not just intuition. (Although that might have worked this time.)

I admit that I copied that one workout, and attempted to lift again on Monday at the gym (instead of the next day), leaving only 6 days of rest between my DL workouts for me; And my Saturday session was late PM, not AM, which added insult to injury.

When my workout suffered, I wondered if you experienced the same thing.

typo - I meant Romanian deadlifts, about which I also had a question.

I only did a single set of RDLs on Friday, so I don't think they had a negative impact on my deadlifts yesterday.

I pulled 10 lbs more yesterday than last week, so I improved my performance.

However, I only did 1 set of RDLs on Friday. I didn't do more than that because I didn't want to risk having a negative impact on DLs.
